Mid-Atlantic Corporate hosted a meeting for three representatives from Kenya's Ministry of Cooperative Development, along with Embassy official, Lina Ochieng, and Lois Kitsch of the World Council of Credit Unions. The visit provided the participants with an understanding of the corporate credit union role within the credit union movement. Deputy Minister Peter Kenneth, Permanent Secretary Benjamin Sogomo, Permanent Secretary; and Personal Assistant to the Minister. Justus Kiago met with Mid-Atlantic CEO Ed Fox, Senior VP/CCOO Jay Murray, VP Lori Gall and VP Rodney May at the corporate's offices. Topics discussed were membership, services and the organization and structure of the corporate.
The delegation also visited Service 1st FCU in Danville, Penn., the Pennsylvania league and the Pennsylvania Department of Banking.
