"I appreciate the confidence the board of directors has given me to lead the credit union," said Kirk. "Alamo FCU is on the cusp of great things with the launch of Concierge Banking, a revolutionary step in customer service where we come to you whether it's your home, office or favorite coffee shop."

Board Chairman Robert Sanchez cited Kirk's knowledge of the financial industry and the local markets as reasons for his selection. "The board of directors is looking forward to a positive year of growth — for both the employees and the members."

Kirk joined the $43 million-asset AFCU in 2011.
