Lois Kitsch has been named Director of Special Projects for the Filene Research Institute. Prior to joining Filene, Kitsch managed credit union development projects internationally for the World Council of Credit Unions, most recently in Afghanistan.
Kitsch was recognized for her work with credit unions around the world with a 2004 Herb Wegner Memorial Award for Individual Achievement. In 2002, Kitsch won the Herb Wegner Memorial Award for Outstanding Project. Prior to joining WOCCU, Kitsch was President of Sarasota Municipal Employees Credit Union in Sarasota, Fla.
