DENHAM SPRINGS, La. – LA DOTD FCU, sponsored by the Louisiana Department of Transportion, announced yesterday it is changing its name to Main Street Financial FCU to reflect its expanding membership.
The $100 million credit union was chartered in 1939 when 12 employees of the Louisiana Highway Commission formed the Highway Federal CU.
The name change is effective July 20 for the credit union, which now serves
Livingston, Calcasieu, and Cameron parishes.
