LANCASTER, Penn. – Lancaster Red Rose CU opened a new branch last week to serve the city’s growing Hispanic population in the Puerto Rican Cultural Center.

The branch, funded with the help of a grant form the Pennsylvania CU Foundation, is part of a plan by six area credit unions that has already opened two branches in Latino areas of Lancaster during the last two months.
The Lancaster Consortium has invested more than $250,000 in Lancaster’s Latino community with support from credit unions, the National CU Foundation, and the Pennsylvania Foundation.
