Leominster CU Pledges $25,000 To Local College

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Leominster CU gave $25,000 to Fitchburg State University and committed to funding two annual $500 scholarships to students from Worcester County who are involved in community service, the university announced yesterday.

In recognition of the gift, the university will name a conference room for the credit union when the Hammond Campus Center is renovated.

Fitchburg State President Robert Antonucci accepted the gifts from credit union President and CEO Gordon Edmonds during a recent meeting.
