INDIAN WELLS, Calif. -
The company said the goal is to bring credit union clients together to learn about its product and technology plans, share best practices, network with their peers and discover new technology solutions to help them achieve their business goals. "As our clients' strategic business partner, USERS understands the vital role that the right technology plays in a credit union's success," said Joe Barry, USERS' president.
The EdCon opening session departed from the traditional format of speakers giving PowerPoint presentations from a podium. Instead, the entire three-hour session was a parody of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," with a Jay Leno impersonator interviewing "guests" (USERS' management team members) who provided overviews of USERS' corporate and technology initiatives.
USERS' next client conference is the 2008 User Group Meeting, to be held April 14-16 at the Hyatt Regency Philadelphia.
