DULUTH, Ga. – NCR reported wider first quarter losses of $19 million, compared to a $15 million loss for the first quarter last year, due to pension expenses and costs from the relocation of its headquarters from Dayton, Ohio.
First quarter net loss attributable to NCR includes $56 million in pension expenses and $5 million worth of incremental costs related to the relocation of the company's global headquarters.
First quarter revenues were up 2% to $1.03 billion.
The company also reported concerns about the funding of its pension plan, which was underfunded by about $1 billion at year-end 2009.
