Louisiana’s Ouachita Valley FCU Promotes VP To CEO

WEST MONROE, La. – Ouachita Valley FCU said its CEO Donna Wagoner retired Friday after eight years at the helm and will be succeeded as head of the $140 million credit union by longtime vice president Katie Pilcher.

Wagoner came to the then-failing credit union in 1986 with her husband, Julius Wagoner, who was then the chief executive. The husband and wife team rescued what had been a failing credit union, and Wagoner took over for her husband in 2003.

Since she took over as chief executive, Ouachita Valley has grown from $62 million in assets, 15,000 members and two branch offices to $138 million in assets, 25,000 members and five full-service locations.

Pilcher, who has been with Ouachita Valley for 21 years, takes over as the credit union’s new top executive today.
