PORTLAND, Me. – Synergent, a CUSO owned by area credit unions, announced yesterday it has signed with vSoft to provide merchant capture to its existing check imaging offerings. The web-based iMerchant Capture system will allow credit union members to provide their business customers with the ability to remotely capture and electronically send deposits, eliminating courier costs. Business customers can use a low speed scanner to capture the check images and transfer the images and data through a secure transmission.
