Man Dressed As Woman To Steal Her ID

WATERLOO, Iowa – A man who dressed as a woman as part of his scheme to pass bad checks was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Paul Cannon, 44, wore women’s clothing when he used information he had about a woman to get a driver’s license in her name. Then Cannon opened an account at Veridian CU.

Cannon was convicted on charges of theft, identity theft and forgery.
