ALEXANDRIA, Va. – The former president and CEO of Dorsey Laboratories FCU, Herbert Hansen, was barred from the credit union industry for stealing almost $300,000 from the Lincoln, Neb., credit union, now known as LincOne FCU, NCUA announced last week.
Hansen is serving a 15-month prison term in federal prison and has been ordered to pay $298,414 in restitution.
Also banned by NCUA were: Nathan Marcum, former loan officer at U.S. Employees Butler County Ohio FCU, for stealing $242,000; Kennae Jeffries, former employee at Honda FCU, for embezzling $61,500 from the credit union; Angelica Si,, former teller at Coastway CU, for stealing $28,000 in member funds; and Irene Worona, former teller at Mercer County Community FCU.
NCUA also banned Danielle Hartsell, former teller at Nor-Car FCU. Hartsell is one of several people, including the former president and former branch manager, banned from the credit union industry for their roles in the theft of more than $2 million from the now defunct credit union.
