Marshall Community Credit Union in Marshall, Michigan, has named Corrie Rozell as its permanent chief executive. Rozell has been interim CEO since January.
Rozell has been with the $306 million-asset credit union since 2008 and most recently held the position of chief operating officer according to her LinkedIn profile.
She succeeds Heather Luciani, who led the credit union since 2010 and left in January of this year to become chief strategy officer of the $1.4 billion-asset Honor Credit Union in Berrien Springs, Michigan.
“Corrie has a passion for pursuing the credit union mission of people helping people … as a
board, we appreciate her commitment to exemplary member service, active staff development and integral involvement in community outreach,” Jay Larson, chairperson of MCCU, said in a press release.
Founded in 1951, MCCU currently has three branches across the state and serves roughly 14,600 members, according to data from the most recent National Credit Union Administration call report.
“These people are my friends, family and neighbors … I personally interact with them on a daily basis and I’m committed to serving them in the best way possible,” Rozell said in the release.
