COLUMBIA, Md. - (11/28/05) The Maryland/DC Credit UnionAssociation, the group newly formed by a merger between theMaryland league and credit unions in the District of Columbia thatwere formerly served under a management contract with the Virginialeague, said it will make the switch to its new name Dec. 1. TheD.C. League will officially close on Friday, Dec. 2. The MDCCUAsaid it has been in negotiations with other organizations to sharespace in new offices within Washington. It expects to announce withwhom it will partner by Jan. 1.
