Maryland Giant Joins CO-OP

BALTIMORE – State Employees CU of Maryland announced yesterday it has joined the credit union-owned CO-OP Financial Services. That gives the 250,000 members of the credit union access to 490 surcharge-free CO-OP ATMs in Maryland and 25,000 in the U.S. Officials with the $1.6 billion credit union said CO-OP’s partnership with 7-Eleven convenience stores was the major selling point, with 304 7-Elevens in Maryland connected to the CO-OP.
