FITCHBURG, Mass. – Six local credit unions are sponsoring a financial literacy fair for area students next month at St. Bernard’s Activity Center.
The fair is CU 4 Reality, which is a national program created through America’s Credit Union Museum’s Financial Literacy Education Committee. It is free and open to middle-school students.
Sponsoring credit unions are: Fitchburg FCU, GFA FCU, IC FCU, Leominster CU, Leominster Employees’ CU and Workers’ CU.
The Cleveland-based bank is projecting steady growth in net interest income even as credit losses remain manageable. But Chairman and CEO Chris Gorman also said that he thinks a recession is likely.
