KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Mazuma CU is offering a local small business owner $3,000 in marketing assistance as part of a new contest to attract member businesses.
The reality-style, “What’s The Big Idea Challenge,” consists of a three-question, online application that outlines the individual’s business plan. The contest is open to both members and non-members and applicants will be judged by current credit union business members.
The winner will receive a $3,000 marketing package, including logo and stationery design and printing.
The Big Idea Challenge was developed by the Filene Research Institute’s i3 incubator program. Several other credit unions, including Wright-Patt CU and Alliant CU, are planning similar contests.
