WESTBURY, N.Y. - (03/09/05) -- A member of Nassau Educators FCU wascharged in an Internet fraud for allegedly cashing checks forcustomers on e-Bay and depositing them into her credit unionaccount without delivering any merchandise. Alexis Levine, 25, ofFarmingdale, was charged with scheming to defraud. Levine allegedlyadvertised musical instruments, call phones, computers, theme parktickets and other items. There were 14 victims.
