MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – Members 1st FCU said it has implemented GuardianEdge’s new Removable Storage Encryption product. The product includes CD/DVD encryption, self-extracting files, 256 bit AES FIPS 140-2 compliance, plaintext file encryption and enhanced logging and reporting. The GuardianEdge Removable Storage Encryption product, a crucial component of the GuardianEdge Data Protection Platform, enables enterprises and government agencies to maximize the benefits of removable storage devices such as USB devices, iPods, and portable hard drives while mitigating the risk of losing sensitive, proprietary or legally protected data.
