HARRISBURG, Penn. – Police are trying to identify a woman who has cashed more than $7,000 of counterfeit checks at several branches of Members 1st FCU over the past two weeks.
The woman, who has identified herself as Terri Willis of York, has been cashing the counterfeit checks since Jan. 22, according to police in Lower Paxton Township, where several of the checks were cashed.
The checks were purported to be payroll checks from Messiah Village, police said.
