Members 1st Unveils New Website

REDDING, Calif. — Members 1st CU has released a new website that it says improves functionality, content and also includes an "intuitive" navigation system.

The $169 million CU's new site was developed in-house by the IT, marketing and audit departments, according to the credit union. It includes desktop and mobile functionality while also providing new content like financial blog posts.

"Visitors to the credit union's website will find a clean and simple design where the most requested information is visible on every page at all times, including links to online banking, ATM/branch finder, and technical support," the CU said.

Members 1st, which serves 18,000 members, said the website will provide current members with access to member discounts, community efforts, financial education and information about other Members 1st products and services. The homepage also includes budgeting tips, fraud warnings and other notifications.

"We wanted to place an emphasis on educating members and potential members about the credit union, its benefits, and their eligibility to join" said Josh Markle, VP of marketing at the credit union.

Members 1st's President and CEO Teri Vanderpol described the change as a complete transformation; she noted that the graphics, content and navigation "allow for a more user-friendly and efficient online and mobile experience."
