Members Group Expands Presence

Nineteen families in Sioux City, Iowa, are closer to owning a home following a new partnership between The Members Group and five area credit unions. The Members Group said that the new partnership has led to a doubling of mortgage applications. TMG has hired Jill Dake, a long-time Sioux City resident with an extensive background in real estate, to manage the local office. Dake spends time in all five credit unions.

MaPS Sells $3.2M In CARPooL

PORTLAND, Ore.-Marion and Polk Schools Credit Union (MaPS) completed a $3.2-million transaction through Northwest Corporate Credit Union's CARPooL program. The CARPooL program is a product that is available through Northwest Corporate's partnership with Charlie Mac, LLC. CARPooL is a ready purchaser of credit unions' new and used auto loans.

PSCU-FS Implements Continuity

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.-PSCU Financial Services said it has implemented a business continuity plan to ensure continuous operations of critical systems and business processes that serve more than 500 member-owners and affect more than eight million credit and debit cardholders and 200,000 online bill payment subscribers. The company's Business Continuation Plan identifies actions to be taken before, during and after a disaster to minimize risk and resume operations at that facility or an alternate location. These proven procedures ensure that the company is prepared to continue customer service to its member institutions during a disaster-including man-made disasters.

SW Corp., xVision In Agreement

DALLAS-Southwest Corporate FCU has licensed the xVision software from Oklahoma City-based Advanced Financial Solutions (AFS), a provider of image-enabled payment processing solutions. With just a little less than three months until the enactment of Check 21, Southwest Corporate said it is "focused on providing its member credit unions with the most strategic and cost effective Check 21 and image exchange solutions available. AFS xVision will facilitate the exchange of check images for the more than 550 member credit unions currently taking advantage of Southwest Corporate's check clearing services. The implementation of AFS xVision will provide Southwest Corporate's member credit unions with the gateway to both support and accommodate check image exchanges through the Federal Reserve's FedImage Services and CheckClear's Endpoint Exchange Network.
