RALEIGH, N.C. - (01/11/05) -- State Employees CU said it closed2004 by selling more than 25,000 'Bluebird boxes' to benefit theEastern Bluebird Rescue Group. The main aim of the 'BluebirdProject' was to provide natural habitats for North Carolina'srapidly dwindling Bluebird population. SECU sold the boxes for $10each - the amount required to construct the boxes.
