SAN FRANCISCO – Mendo Lake CU was the only credit union among 40 members of the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco to receive $36.6 million in affordable housing grants announced yesterday.
The credit union received $110,000 in grants that will help renovate a 12-unit rental property for Redwood Children’s Services in Ukiah.
The $36.6 million in affordable housing grants will help fund 60 projects that will produce or preserve 3,213 housing units in Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey and Washington.
