EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State University FCU raised almost $28,000 to benefit MSU students through two annual checks promotions.
When credit union members purchase exclusive MSU Spirit checks or Spartan Sports checks, $1 of that purchase supports MSU. This year, the credit union presented a donation of $17,709 from sales of MSU Spirit checks to the MSU FCU endowed scholarship for MSU students. MSUFCU has given more than $320,000 from the MSU Spirit check sales to the scholarship fund.
A second donation of $5,000, from the sales of the Spartan Sports checks, will go to the Clara Bell Smith Center’s Student-Athlete Support Services program.
