Minnesota CU Robber Sentenced To Six Years Behind Bars

ST. PAUL, Minn. – A man who robbed Minnesota Building Trades FCU of more than $21,000 last Oct. 8 was sentenced to almost six years in prison on Friday.

Herman Wilson, 44, entered the credit union wearing a surgical mask, goggles and a neon construction vest. He carried a kitty-litter bucket that held a black bag and a semi-automatic handgun.

Employees were able to provide FBI agents with a description of Wilson and his car and he was arrested on Dec. 2.

He pleaded guilty to one count of bank robbery and was sentenced to 71 months in federal prison.
