SAN DIEGO – Mission FCU has been added as a participating servicer to the Treasury’s modification incentive program under the Troubled Asset Relief Program, bringing to four the number of credit unions among the 34 participants in the program.
The Home Affordable Modification Program, or HAMP, allocates TARP funds to servicers to use as interest rate reduction subsidies or to distribute to participating lender/investors or borrowers.
The Treasury Department allocated a cap of $860,000 to Mission FCU.
The other credit union participants are Wescom Central CU, Technology CU and IBM Southeast Employees CU.
