SAN DIEGO - (11/29/04) -- A 34-year-old female bandit whoauthorities are likening to one of the partners in 'Bonnie andClyde,' is suspected in a spree of armed robberies that terrorizedbank and credit union employees and customers the past two years.Police said Shannin Marsh may be responsible for as many as a dozenarmed robberies at area financial institutions and businesses, aswell as a series of bomb threats at the U.S. Marine's nearby CampPendleton. Marsh was arrested Nov. 8 after she was identified by anemployee at Pacific Marine CU from a surveillance video as thewoman who robbed the credit union in September 2003, and again lastmonth. After searching her home, police found a robbery demandnote, hidden in a pink bag in the master bedroom closet. Marsh isalso suspected in hold-ups at USA FCU and Great AmericanCU.
