GREAT FALLS, Mont. Great Falls Teachers FCU this morning becomes Embark FCU.
The name change has been considered in some fashion since 2001, when the now $90-million credit union adopted a new community charter covering Cascade, Chouteau, Teton, Pondera and Judith Basin counties.
“The word embark’ can be defined as to start a journey,’ or to invest in an enterprise,’” a letter to credit union members states. “Many of our members are educators who help students embark on an educational journey every day. We do the same with our members.”
