Mortgage CUSO Symbionce Makes Inc. 500/5000

EAST HANOVER, N.J. — Symbionce Financial Solutions LLC, a credit union service organization that offers mortgage services to CUs, on Thursday was ranked number 945 on Inc.magazine's eighth annual Inc. 500|5000.

The 500|5000 list is the publication's exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.

Fuhu, maker of soft-sided tablets for children, tops this year's list. Symbionce Financial Solutions joins Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Jamba Juice, Timberland, Patagonia and GoPro among other prominent brands featured this year.

Symbionce increased its revenue to $3.1 million last year, from $565,991 in 2010.

Its three-year growth rate was 478%. It doubled its number of employees from six to 12.

"We are thrilled to be selected to appear on this prestigious list. We are the only CUSO to be honored this year," Ann South, managing member of Symbionce, said in a statement.

"Our staff, credit union clients, and excellent products and services have proven to be a great combination," she said. "We are so proud of what we have accomplished."

In a stagnant economic environment, median growth rate of 2014 Inc. 500|5000 financial services companies is 112%. The companies on this year's list report having created more than 84,000 jobs in the past three years.

The 2014 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2010 to 2013. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2010.

They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of Dec. 31, 2013.

Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired. The minimum revenue required for 2010 is $100,000; the minimum for 2013 is $2 million.
