WASHINGTON – Long-term mortgage rates ticked up again this week from record lows – for the second week in a row – according to Freddie Mac.
The average for the 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage rose to 3.59% this week, from 3.55% last week; while the average for the 15-year, fixed-rate loan inched up to 2.84%, from 2.83%.
ARM rates were mixed, with the average for the five-year ARM moving up to 2.77%, from 2.75%; and the average for the one-year ARM dipping to 2.65%, from 2.70% last week.
