NEW YORK – Municipal CU, this city’s biggest credit union, opened a new branch in Harlem last week.
The facility is the $1.7-billion credit union’s 15th branch in the five boroughs, Westchester and Long Island, but only the second one in Manhattan, with the other located on Lafayette St. near City Hall.
Municipal President Kam Wong said the new location would allow the 325,000-member credit union “to provide convenient and excellent service to our members who work and live in upper Manhattan.”
