Municipal CU To Buy Naming Rights To Coney Island Baseball Stadium

NEW YORK – Municipal CU is expected to announce a deal today acquiring the naming rights for the Brooklyn Cyclones’ Coney Island ballpark.

The Coney Island ballpark is where the popular Cyclones, a Class A minor league affiliate of the New York Mets, play their home baseball games.

The ballpark has been called KeySpan Stadium since its inception in 2001 but the sponsors, the National Grid, have ended their relationship with the team.

Financial terms of the deal were not available.
