WASHINGTON – For the first time NAFCU is inviting non-member credit unions to attend its annual Congressional Caucus at the regular membership rate.
Credit union executives who may be visiting Congress as part of the Hike the Hill program that week are also welcome, NAFCU said.
The Congressional Caucus, one of the industry’s annual Washington showcases, will be held at the Mayflower Renaissance Hotel, Sept. 18-21.
Speakers so far include Terry McAuliffe, former chairman of the Democratic National Party, Rep. Jason Chaffetz, member of Congress’s tea party coalition, longtime credit union friend Brad Sherman, Michigan Congressman Gary Peters and all three NCUA Board members.
