NAFCU Promotes Hunt to Executive Vice President

NAFCU has promoted Carrie Hunt to executive vice president of government affairs and general counsel.

The title change was designed to reflect Hunt's growing responsibilities and duties at the trade association. She joined NAFCU more than 11 years ago and has led the association's legislative, political, regulatory, compliance and research divisions under her previous title of senior vice president of government affairs and general counsel.

Hunt "has helped NAFCU successfully tackle an extraordinary political climate in the financial services industry. She is an exemplary manager with an impressive work ethic and commitment to excellence," said NAFCU chief executive and president Dan Berger in a news release.

Additionally, Hunt also acts as staff liaison to federal agencies, including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the NCUA.
