NAFCU, United Nations FCU Nominated For BSAAG

ARLINGTON, Va. - NAFCU has nominated itself and United Nations FCU for membership on the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network's Bank Secrecy Act Advisory Group (BSAAG).

The BSAAG was established pursuant to the Annunzio-Wylie Anti-Money Laundering Act of 1992 and is the means in which the Secretary of the Treasury receives advice on the administration and operations of the BSA.

Chaired by the Director of FinCEN, the BSAAG brings together representatives from the federal regulatory and law enforcement agencies, financial institutions, and trade.
