Nashville’s US Community CU To Open High School Branch

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – US Community Credit Union is opening a branch at McGavock High School this fall that will be operated by students in the school’s hospitality and finance academy and cater to other McGavock students and faculty.

The $170 million credit union is spending about $100,000 to renovate space in the high school’s main hallway into a credit union branch.

Student interviews were held earlier this month and 10 McGavock students were chosen to work as tellers during four lunch periods.
