VIENNA, Va. – Navy FCU will open a new branch Monday near Fort Carson, Colo., to serve 66,000 Department of Defense personnel and their families.
Fort Carson is home to the 4th Infantry Division; 43rd Sustainment Brigade; 10th Special Forces Group; 1st Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment; 71st Ordnance Group; 1st Battalion, 2nd Aviation Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division.
The $46-billion credit union already operates Colorado branches in Aurora and Colorado Springs.
The newest branch is a 2,450-square-foot building located in the Markets of Mesa Ridge, approximately three miles from Gate 20 at Fort Carson.
Navy Federal has added 1.1 million members since its field of membership expanded in 2008 beyond the Navy to include all Army, Air Force and Department of Defense personnel.
