Navy FCU Opens To Army’s Oldest Unit

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Navy FCU opens its newest branch here this morning, to serve the 1st Infantry Division of the U.S. Army at Fort Riley, the oldest division in the U.S. Army, emphasizing the credit union giant’s growing expansion outside its core Navy group.

“As the oldest division in the Army, Navy Federal is proud to serve soldiers who defend our way of life, at Fort Riley” said Terry Resseguie, manager of the new Navy branch.

Over the past two years, Navy Federal, which plans to add 300,000 new members this year, has landed in such stalwart Army outposts as West Point, Fort Knox, and even the Pentagon, as well as numerous bases serving the Air Force and Marines.

This is the $45 billion credit union’s 216th branch.
