The credit union giant's growing member base in Silverdale — about 26,000 members — warranted the construction of a building the credit union could call its own. The $46 billion credit union has about 40,000 members, most of them working at the Naval Base Kitsap Bremerton. It's only other branch is in Bremerton

The new branch will offer space for business partners, including mortgage counselors and personal finance officers.
