HAMPTON ROADS, Va. – Navy FCU opened its newest branch here last week, as the world’s largest credit union sailed towards plans for 31 new outlets this year, the most ambitious credit union expansion ever. The Hampton Roads branch was the 10th to open so far this year for the $30 billion credit union, which operates 125 branches around the world. The Salem Road office is Navy Federal’s 12th branch in Hampton Roads and offers a full range of products and services including a full service ATM and drive thru with Sunday hours. On one day last month, Navy Fed opened four new branches in the Atlanta area.
