Navy Fed Lands Again, This Time At Virginia’s Fort Lee

VIENNA, Va. – Navy Fed plans to add another new branch today–its 22nd in the past two months–at nearby Colonial Heights, Va., to serve military personnel at Fort Lee.

The branch will be the sixth opened in the past two months, along with 17 new branches added through the $44 billion credit union’s acquisition of San Diego’s troubled USA FCU. The credit union giant now operates 209 branches.

The one-time Navy-only credit union has added 154,000 members since its field of membership expanded in 2008 to include Army and Air Force personnel, as well as Department of Defense civilians.
