DAYTON, Ohio - (07/27/05) -- ATM manufacturer NCR Corp. saidsecond quarter earnings rose 4% to $127 million, or 67 cents ashare, compared to the same period last year, due entirely from a$64 million benefit from the favorable settlement of a prior-yeartax audit. But revenue growth remained flat, with second quarterrevenues of $1.47 billion, up just 1% from last year, and $2.8billion, up 2.5%, for the first six months of the year. For thefirst half, net income was $157 million, or 84 cents a share, up34% from the first half last year.
