DAYTON, Ohio -- ATM maker NCR Corp. lost $15 million in the first quarter compared with a profit of $48 million in the same period of 2008, largely because of a downturn in the retail industry, the company said yesterday.
First quarter revenues fell to $1.01 billion from $1.18 billion a year ago, down 15%.
NCR said it expects its revenue to be down 10% to 15% for all of 2009 and earnings from continuing operations of between 60 cents and 75 cents a share.
