DAYTON, Ohio – NCR last week said it is offering an ATM that conducts minor repairs to itself, saving owners on maintenance and down time.
The company said when a problem arises for one of its SelfServ ATMs, the machine will fix itself in 10 to 15 minutes, as opposed to being down for three to four hours awaiting a technician.
The SelfServ machines allow for bulk check deposits and bill payments, as well as local government fine processing.
