NCUA Alters Interlock Rule

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - NCUA has made an adjustment to its management officials interlock rule to allow CUofficials to serve at more than one institution, as long as each is under $50-million in assets. The agency approved a technical change that bumped the asset-size threshold from $20 million.

The change was required by the 2006 Financial Services Regulatory Relief Act and the NCUA said its final rule tracks changes the other federal financial institution regulators have made in their management interlocks rules for banks and thrifts.
