NCUA, CFPB To Hold Fourth Annual Town Hall Webinar

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — NCUA has announced that Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Richard Cordray will take part in a town hall webinar with NCUA Chair Debbie Matz on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 3:00 p.m.

This is the fourth time Matz has held a joint webinar with Cordray, and she said in a statement that it has become "an annual event."

"This webinar gives credit union leaders and compliance officials the opportunity to communicate directly with regulators and get answers to important questions," Matz said in a statement. "I encourage anyone who is interested in consumer and credit union regulations to join us."

Webinar participants will be able to submit questions and receive answers on any topics pertaining to the CU system or the CFPB. Questions can also be submitted in advance by e-mailing WebinarQuestions@ncua.gov and using the subject line "NCUA-CFPB Town Hall."
