ALEXANDRIA, Va. – NCUA announced yesterday it has granted a charter to a new faith-based low-income credit union to serve parishioners of the New Covenant Christian Church and students of its affiliated parochial schools in the Bronx. The New Covenant Dominion FCU is the first credit union chartered this year. New Covenant Christian Church has four churches in the Bronx, provides educational services for students from pre-school to high school and a bible college, and operates mission programs in Africa and India.
