ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The National Credit Union Administration appointed Lynn Markgraf to serve as Associate Regional Director for Programs in its Region I office.
Markgraf is currently the agency's Region V Supervisory Examiner, and will take over for Marcia Sarrazin, who has retired, according to a statement issued Thursday by NCUA. She is scheduled to begin work in her new position on Feb. 23.
Markgraf joined NCUA in 1989 as a district examiner, and subsequently worked as a supervision analyst, insurance analyst, program officer in NCUA's Office of Examination and Insurance, and served as director of insurance in the agency's Region V.
As associate regional director for programs in Region I, Markgraf will work out of NCUA's Albany office. Region I primarily oversees FCUs in Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont and Wisconsin.
