NCUA Promotes Love To Chief Examiner

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – A few days short of Valentine’s Day, NCUA promoted Love, that is long-time regional director Melinda Love, to be the agency’s director of examinations and insurance.

Love, who has headed NCUA’s western Region Five the last five years, will succeed David Marquis, who was promoted last month to be the agency executive director, or chief operating officer.

Love also served as director of NCUA Chicago-based region and as deputy executive director. She joined NCUA as an examiner in 1986 in northern California and has worked as a principal examiner, problem case officer, supervision analyst, supervisory examiner and acting director of special actions.
